LIVAT is a shopping cente group in China wholly owned by IICG (Inter IKEA Centre Group). In Europe the brand operates under the InterIkea shopping centres brand. LIVAT intend to become landmark shopping centres across China. Currently there are four LIVAT centres with the aim of opening one each year. All the shopping centres are anchored by an IKEA store and are built to the companies Scandinavian principles.
Air Design created the complete wayfinding system, brand application and signage manuals for Inter IKEA Europe. As Inter IKEA operate under LIVAT in China the same exercise was required for this market.
