We were devastated to hear of the sudden passing of our lovely colleague Jose Tirado earlier this month.
A Spanish native, Jose first came to us as a freelancer a year and a half ago, having worked on many projects internationally. His exceptional 3D and product design skills were very much in demand from a number of agencies and we were very grateful for his enduring loyalty during the relatively short time we knew him. He was a pleasure to work with and especially looked up to by the junior members of the Interiors team, due to his vast technical knowledge and infectious enthusiasm for innovative design, and we were all in awe of the incredibly beautiful renders he seemed to be able to produce almost at the drop of a hat.
A kind and modest person, he was extremely generous with his time and very patient and willing to explain tricky subjects and help teach others, and we were often surprised and delighted when a project brief caused him to let slip such hidden depths and rare talents as his encyclopaedic knowledge of aquascaping (fish tank building!) and tropical fish. Jose loved his work and had a passion for travel and the many countries it took him to, reflected in his highly-skilled photography.
His gentle nature and good-humoured presence in our studio will be sadly missed and we celebrate his life and the fact that we are incredibly privileged to have worked with him.
Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.
