We are thrilled to have been awarded the Sign Design Society’s best global multi-lingual and multi script navigation system for our work on the Russian Rail navigation system.
It’s the second largest rail network in the world, carrying over 1bn passengers yearly, across 11 time zones. Whilst Russian is the Federal language there are also a further 26 official languages of the Russian Republics. So the system needed to cope with this multiplicity, dependant upon region.
On a project such as this, which spans a number of years, there are many people who contribute. They are not easy things to do and all involved should feel proud of the contributions, be they large or small. So, a massive pat on the back to all involved.
We are also very pleased that two other Air projects were highlighted by the awards panel; Our navigation system for the Royal College of Music, and our navigation system for Silesia City Centre. They are both great projects and nice for all involved to gain some recognition for hard work.
