New wayfinding schemes for Digital City in Riyadh and Jeddah Housing Project

We are delighted to be working with Raza, a subsidiary of Al Ra’idah Investment Company and the real estate investment arm of the Saudi Public Pension Agency (PPA), on two wayfinding projects for existing mixed-use developments: Digital City in Riyadh and Jeddah Housing Project.

Digital City is a top-quality mixed-use development in Riyadh that is the ultimate destination to work, live and relax. Digital City is Saudi Arabia’s largest business district, comprising of 400,000 m² of office space, F&B, amenities and event spaces, offering urban living within a public realm. Digital City’s upcoming residential community will offer 2,200 units with a strong focus on community amenities and services and is due to open before the end of 2019.

Jeddah Housing Project is the largest urban residential project in Saudi Arabia. Jeddah Obhur is a 1.8 million m² mixed-use development project located in the north of Jeddah. It will offer a range of neighbourhoods, recreational facilities, amenities, offices and retail spaces that will set a new standard for community living in KSA. The first phase is a 2,500-unit apartment community with public amenities and retail and will be the new home for families in 2019.

Air has been appointed to develop wayfinding systems to improve the experience for both visitors and residents and help build an ambience by creating an identity and sense of place at each location; delivering the spirit of innovation as part of Digital City’s environment and enhancing sustainability through the promotion of pedestrian and cycling routes, pedestrian access and efficient traffic flow across the Jeddah Housing Project.
