A ‘media’ brand for award winning retail destination


Appointed by leading Belgian property developer Wilhelm & Co, our brief was to develop the Médiacité brand and extend it across all elements in the mall, from communications and signage to touchscreens and iPhone apps. Designed by Ron Arad, the centre required a slick and contemporary solution in-keeping with the dramatic architecture of the building.


Our brand identity solution is super-flexible and designed to work for both the professional audience and the retail user alike. We worked in close collaboration with Ron Arad Associates developing the wayfinding strategy and detailed design of the system which included the integrated touchscreen.


The scheme has been multi-award winning. Our wide skill-set has enabled us to execute the brand consistently and engagingly across a wide variety of media. Our client reported that they have been able to update content quickly across the various channels, saving them precious time. Over seven million customers visited the mall in its first year.
